Naughty and Nice: The Good Girl Art of Bruce Timm

NAUGHTY AND NICE: THE GOOD GIRL ART OF BRUCE TIMM (Flesk Publications)
Melding Elvgren, Toth, McGinnis, DeCarlo and Frazetta (among others), Timm’s pin-ups are the stuff of a fanboy’s dreams, laid bare in this gorgeous showcase of the animator / cartoonist’s mastery of line, shape and color. A few subjects may veer uncomfortably towards Lolitaesque, but Big Barda never looked better.

Since you only had 50 words, I thought I would chime in on how nice the book itself is. Larger than expected, good weight to the paper, great reproductions.

All of which is a relief, because I suspect I'll be spending lots of time looking through this book.

Yeah, they did a gorgeous job. I also love how many pages contrast the line art with the finished painted work.
If I have any complaint, it's that I wish more pieces had been annotated (like who some of those Hammer Horror girls are and where pieces were previously published).
But it's a thing o' beauty, all right!
