, but too much space is dedicated to reprinting “original” art that looks exactly like the printed comics. Why not more sketchbooks, spot illustration and unpublished work? An elitist tone also tastes sour.

Much as I love Jaime's work, I didn't bother with this tome. I wonder if Hignite's new position as resident comics guru at Heritage Auctions has made him more of an assessor and less a fan. I'm sure the elitist tone was amusing to Jaime, though. He's a very unpretentious guy.
